Sixth Congressional District Democratic Committee of Virginia

The Sixth Congressional District Democratic Committee of Virginia covers all or part of the counties of Alleghany, Augusta, Bath, Botetourt, Clarke, Frederick, Highland, Page, Roanoke, Rockbridge, Rockingham, Shenandoah, and Warren. It includes the cities of Buena Vista, Covington, Harrisonburg, Lexington, Roanoke, Salem, Staunton, Waynesboro, and Winchester.

Staunton Democratic Committee Reorganization Announced

The Staunton Democratic Committee will hold its biennial reorganization meeting at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 8, 2015, in the City Council Chambers of Staunton City Hall, 116 West Beverley Street. Its sole purpose is to certify membership in the Committee, and to elect the Committee’s Executive Committee for two-year terms. Nominees for the executive committee must file before December 4, 2015.

At its reorganization meeting, the Staunton Democratic Committee members will elect officers (Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, and Secretary) to serve from 2016 to 2018.  Only members of the Staunton Democratic Committee will be eligible to participate in the process.
