Monday, December 7, 2015 – 7:00 PM – The Augusta County Democratic Committee will hold its biennial reorganization meeting at 7 p.m., Monday, December 7, 2015, in the Smith Transfer Room West in the Augusta County Government Center in Verona, Virginia. Its sole purpose is to certify membership in the Committee. The Committee’s Executive Committee will be elected for two-year terms at the next regular committee meeting. Nominees for the executive committee must file before December 4, 2015.
At its reorganization meeting, the Augusta County Democratic Committee members will elect officers (Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, and Secretary) to serve from 2016 to 2018. Only members of the Augusta County Democratic Committee will be eligible to participate in the process.
Attached are the Amended ACDC 2015 Call to Reorganize and the ACDC 2015 APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP. Current members are not required to file a form or attend the meeting to remain a member. If you have moved or no longer want to remain a member, please notify the Committee Chair.
